Sea to Sky Removal Shares Insight at Circular Economy Town Hall

Kim Darwin is on her way to committing to lead the BC Green Party into the next provincial election and supporting our currently elected MLA’s in promoting environmental, economic, and social sustainability in British Columbia.

She invited Co-Founder Chris Arkell to a special Town Hall on the Circular Economy as well as two other impactful businesses, Felix Böck of ChopValue and Tom Bedford of Ginger Jars.

Chris talked about how we got into the business as well as shared some of our challenges in the industry such as plastic, like the hard to recycle plastics or single use which most ends up in the landfill or the waste to energy stream and the lack of local infrastructure. He also spoke about construction & demolition waste not being adequately utilized and brought back into the building sector and lastly Kim asked what government incentive or program could have or can make our business more successful in meeting our goals.
